All colors of paints or stains will vary to some degree usually to a darker shade when applied to wood or metal. My standard choice of colors are Provincial stain and I use an easy cleaning gloss black enamel paint, which gives my rockers and swings an old fashion antique appearance before their time.

I use only industrial Hot Roll Steel, about the only type tougher is an R plate for railroad tracks and tank armor. NO poisons from cutting stainless steels or arsenic treated wood used.
