  How to support or hang a swing on your porch, patio or in your sunroom, install it with steel support brackets. If you bought an all wood, wooden or wicker porch swing, the reseller or their supplier probably sent you this type of screws with holes in them, or something similar, and you want to hang your swing safely.

These porch swing brackets are
designed to use with springs below! Small holes keep springs securely in place All brackets ship in 10-24 days Never hang a porch swing from a 2"x 4"  The porch swing brackets on the left are to be used with 4' or 5' swings hanging from exposed beam rafters. This swing support set is for 2" x 6" or any wider and/or taller rafters only. Brackets measure 1/4"x 7 1/2"x 7 1/2" and use (3) 1/4"x 2 1/2" bolts staggered to catch new wood grain veins. 4" or 6" wide beams can use (3) 1/4" x 2 1/2" hex head lag screws, if you do not want nuts and washers showing on the other side of the beam.
Brackets shown are used with 4' through 6' swings only, for other sizes see descriptions 
Brackets on the right are for enclosed porch ceilings. Brackets measure 1/4" x 7 1/2"x 6" and use (4) 1/4" x 2 1/2" hex head lag screws staggered, and (1) 1/4" x 3 1/2" hex head lag screw in the center to catch a new upper wood grain vein.
